Job summary

Amcor LLC seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician (Tool) to sustain safe, reliable plastics manufacturing. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of injection molds and tooling components, disassemble and rebuild molds, and operate Tool Room equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.

You’ll troubleshoot tooling issues, support mold changeovers, and maintain documentation in CMMS systems while adhering to safety standards and continuous

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in Tool & Die, Machining, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology preferred.
• 0-3 years of tooling, maintenance, machining experience preferred.
• Plastics injection molding and Mold maintenance experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of injection molds and tooling components.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble molds per procedures.
• Operate Tool Room equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses.
• Troubleshoot tooling-related issues affecting production, quality, or mold performance.
• Support mold changeovers and tooling preparation activities.
