Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with clear grammar and spelling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs histological duties within Mohs laboratory guidelines.
• Embeds, sections, stains, and coverslips tissue for analysis.
• Maintains and calibrates lab instruments and logs.
• Ensures specimen identification and proper labeling.
• Adheres to OSHA and universal precautions and participates in quality control.
