Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking a senior electrical systems architect to own the technical architecture of modular power skids for utility-scale sites, data centers, and BTM-to-FTM deployments. You will translate high-level diagrams into robust, mass-manufacturable products while coordinating electrical, mechanical, software controls, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in complex, multi-disciplinary industrial systems.
• Strong leadership across electrical, mechanical, and software teams.
• Experience supervising third-party design firms and CM partners.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of modular power skid design from concept to production release.
• Define skid-level power topology for utility-scale sites and data centers.
• Make hardware decisions: layout, thermal, protection, and manufacturability.
• Coordinate requirements across Electrical, Mechanical, Project Delivery, Software Controls, and Supply Chain.
• Manage third-party design firms and external manufacturers as technical lead.
• Scale configurations with suppliers for high-volume production.
• Own design-to-cost targets and supplier strategy.
• Develop a site design configuration tool for optimal inverter/skid setups.
