Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Plant Manager for the Offsite Manufacturing division in Spokane, WA. You will lead day-to-day operations of the plant and value streams, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, and integrate cross-functional partnerships to achieve scalable manufacturing outcomes.

The role emphasizes lean leadership, continuous improvement, and staff development, with a focus on creating a zero-incident safety culture and a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in progressive manufacturing or plant operations leadership, including 3+ years managing a production facility.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools (QMS, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, VSM).
• Experience managing safety programs and achieving measurable TRIR reductions.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Lead day-to-day operations of assigned plant and value streams.
• Set operational direction and ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives across production lines.
• Build and coach a high-performing manufacturing team with succession planning.
