Job summary

McKinstry is hiring a Construction Project Manager for the Offsite Manufacturing team in Spokane, WA. This role owns end-to-end operational and contractual performance of a defined modular product value stream, coordinating across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver cost, quality, schedule, and contractual outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in CM or engineering, 6 years of PM/engineering/construction experience, GC or major

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering required or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of project management, engineering, or construction preferred.
• Prior GC or major mechanical subcontractor exposure is desired.
• Experience with modular/offsite manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficient with project scheduling software.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Basic estimating skills and financial awareness preferred.
• Understanding of accounting/financial management beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition of PM and engineering activities from design through construction.
• Develop and manage project plans, submittals, schedules, scopes, and execution strategies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Serve as primary contact for client relationships and satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage client and subcontractor change orders.
• Monitor cost, margin, and forecasted financial outcomes.
• Coordinate among trades, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Coach and mentor project team members.
