Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Drafter / Shop Drawing Drafter for hybrid work in Austin, TX; Chandler, AZ; or Troy, MI. You’ll develop production-ready drawings and documentation to support modular manufacturing projects, collaborating with designers, engineers, and shop trades to ensure accuracy and efficient production.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fabrication drafting, advanced SolidWorks, and Revit proficiency, plus a keen eye for making design concepts production-ready.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in design for manufacturing, fabrication, or related field.
• Experience producing shop drawings, construction details, and fabrication documentation.
• Advanced SolidWorks skills and working knowledge of Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-ready models and shop drawings for modular manufacturing operations.
• Create drafting packages, exported drawings, and automation files to support fabrication processes.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy and coordination.
