Job summary

Zekelman Industries’ Z Modular is seeking an experienced MEP Designer - Plumbing to develop and coordinate plumbing and mechanical systems for modular projects. You will create and manage Revit BIM models, production drawings, and coordination packages across design, engineering, and construction teams in a hybrid role.

This position is located in Austin, TX with additional sites in Chandler, AZ or Troy, MI, and requires strong BIM proficiency, 3–5 years of Revit experience, and an engineering

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience using Revit BIM in engineering, construction, or design environments.
• Experience designing plumbing systems and coordinating mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of building systems coordination and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates plumbing and mechanical designs for modular construction projects.
• Creates and maintains Revit BIM models, construction drawings, and shop drawings.
• Reviews designs and resolves conflicts, coordination issues, and inconsistencies.
• Coordinates building systems with architects, engineers, contractors, fabricators, and internal teams.
