Job summary

ROXBOX in Houston, TX is seeking an Architectural Designer to translate concepts into buildable construction documents, from early concept through permit and construction documentation. The role requires strong Revit proficiency and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, with on-site fabrication exposure.

You will model in Revit, coordinate with project managers, engineers, fabrication personnel and clients, and produce sheet sets while maintaining organized models and up-to-date

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited program.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit; capable of modeling and producing sheet sets.
• Experience with steel frame construction and/or commercial construction.
• Ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction documents for permitting and construction.
• Model and detail projects in Revit and maintain accurate models.
• Revise plans as marked and coordinate sheets affected by changes.
• Support design development from concept through construction administration.
• Coordinate with on-site production team and incorporate feedback into documentation.
• Assist with permit submittals and respond to plan review comments.
• Manage workload and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, fabrication personnel, and clients.
