Job summary

ROXBOX in Houston, TX is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee on-site modular construction projects from design through delivery. You will coordinate across design, production, procurement, and field teams to keep projects moving on schedule and within budget.

You will serve as the primary client contact, lead kickoff meetings, manage vendors and subcontractors, review drawings, and ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience.
• Construction, manufacturing, or related industry experience required.
• Solid communication skills, adept at translating technical concepts for novice audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage projects from completion of the design phase through production, completion, and delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deadlines, proactively identifying delays, risks, and long-lead procurement items that could impact delivery.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing regular updates on progress, timelines, delays, changes, and key decisions.
• Lead Client Kickoff Meetings to establish project expectations, communication guidelines, responsibilities, timelines, and next steps.
• Coordinate across Design, Operations, Production, Procurement, Accounting, and leadership to keep projects moving forward.
• Identify, source, and negotiate with project-specific vendors and subcontractors, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, signage, and other specialty trades.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding with Accounting and manage vendor scope, pricing, scheduling, and project expectations.
• Notify the Chief of Staff when project milestones are reached and the next phase is ready to be invoiced.
• Oversee the Project Coordinator to ensure project administration and documentation including MSAs, NDAs, change orders, packing slips, and delivery details are completed accurately and on time.
• Proactively escape significant project delays, risks, client concerns, and operational issues to the Director of Operations and CEO.
