Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a senior Modularization Architect/Lead Engineer for CDU and data center automation in Bethlehem, PA. The role combines thermal-fluid knowledge, electrical controls, and cybersecurity basics to define reusable modular components and interfaces.

You will lead architecture, develop module strategies, and specify control philosophy, while coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Controls or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in automation, controls, and data center infrastructure.
• Experience with CDU, liquid cooling, HVAC controls, BMS/SCADA, and control panel engineering preferred.
• Experience in modular product design, platform engineering and cost optimization is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead modular architecture definition for CDU products and data center control applications.
• Develop configurable module strategy for CDU capacities, redundancy, and interfaces.
• Define control philosophy for CDU operation including pump sequencing and safety interlocks.
• Create reusable electrical and control panel blocks (PLC/DDC, I/O, VFDs, HMIs).
• Prepare interface control documents for CDU integration with facility networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert custom designs into platform modules.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and field issue resolution.
