Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Service Technician to inspect and repair modular buildings across North America, ensuring safety and quality. The role involves carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and related tasks with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

You will contribute to a safe work environment, maintain equipment, and support site operations, including coordinating with customers and performing inspections for deliveries and returns. Veterans are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment is a must.
• Some knowledge of computers is necessary and good communications skills are required for dealing with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel as well as Williams Scotsman employees at various branch locations.
• Must have carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
• A current valid driver’s license and a clean record are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect modular buildings and perform repairs including framing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing tasks.
• Lead safety initiatives, attend safety meetings, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Operate company vehicle safely and manage on/off rent inspections and invoicing support.
• Create floor plan drawings and manage inventory of tools and parts.
• Coordinate with customers to explain repairs and ensure on-time deliveries.
