Job summary

WillScot's Service Technicians inspect and repair the fleet of modular buildings, performing framing, carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, flooring, and related tasks. A safety mindset and reliable driving record are essential to keep our fleet on schedule.

You will handle check-in/out inspections, field repairs, tools and parts inventory, and customer communication to explain repairs. The role offers competitive base wage with benefits and opportunities for overtime and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Some knowledge of computers and good communication skills are required.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
• A current valid driver’s license and a clean record are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and perform repairs to modular trailers including framing and finish carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and related tasks.
• Promote safety and lead safety initiatives; participate in training and safety assessments.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform check-in/out inspections of off/on rent trailers.
• Perform HVAC system checks and maintenance per guidelines.
• Prepare paperwork for deliveries, pickups and service calls; communicate with customers about repairs.
