Job summary

South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) seeks a Modular Building Program Coordinator to administer the licensing program, review modular construction plans for compliance, and process certification label applications.

You will interact with manufacturers, code officials, and approved agencies, prepare monthly reports, and participate in policy updates and training. A high school diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant program experience.
• Experience reviewing construction plans for compliance with codes.
• Able to obtain ICC certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer licensing program for modular buildings and review plans for compliance.
• Process modular certification label applications for plans.
• Review applications and manuals for manufacturers and inspectors.
• Communicate with manufacturers, code officials, and agencies to resolve code issues.
• Prepare monthly reports and conduct audits of in-state sites.
