Northrop Grumman seeks a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (Level 4) to support its training systems engineering team in Melbourne, FL. You will own key elements of the training system architecture and requirements, and lead major SETR events using SysML and Cameo.

The role requires a STEM degree with years of Systems Engineering experience, DoD secrecy clearance, and ability to work onsite; you will coordinate with suppliers and deliver a robust technical baseline for customer needs.

Qualifications

• MBSE practices with SysML-based models and Cameo.
• Experience preparing for SETR events (SFR/PDR/CDR).
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support Training PDR TIMs with agenda prep and documentation.
• Plan and execute Training SETR events with clear criteria.
• Develop and mature training system architecture to PDR maturity.
• Integrate supplier models into the system architecture.
• Update SSDDs and design artifacts for trainer SETR reviews.
• Coordinate with supplier teams and manage baselines changes.
• Provide technical feedback and ensure traceability to requirements.
