Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Modeling Simulation and Analysis Engineer (Principal or Sr. Principal) to lead technical execution in systems analysis and simulation.

You will develop models, run real-time simulations, and support blue/red kill-chain analyses across air, ground, and space platforms. You will craft CONOPs and TTPs, guide junior engineers, and interact with program leadership to ensure mission-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline required or equivalent.
• Experience in Systems Engineering and mission analysis preferred.
• Strong scripting and modeling skills with MATLAB, Python, C++, Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in technical execution of systems analysis and simulation projects.
• Develop software and analytical tools to model real-time system behavior.
• Model operational environments and perform trade studies via simulation.
• Create CONOPs, TTPs, and assess mission effectiveness across domains.
