Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Systems Engineer (level 2) / Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) to join the AVE MS&A team. The role focuses on AVE performance, flight assessment, and trajectory simulations for missile targeting software.

Candidates should have DoD security clearance, strong modeling and simulation background, and experience with C++, MATLAB, Python, and related tools. Relocation may be available for the right fit.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
• Experience with Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis of Aerospace Vehicles
• Experience with Git
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Executing trajectory simulation tools in 3D and 6-DOF; analyze results and develop missile targeting algorithms
• Implementing numerical methods and missile models
• Trajectory simulations support including payload-range, vehicle maneuverability, and test predictions
• Missile targeting software generates trajectory profiles for mission planning
