Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA, seeks a Level 2 or Level 3 Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer to support the AISR&T program. You will develop system-level models to aid architecture trades, performance assessments, and design decisions, with responsibility for planning V&V to ensure model accuracy.

The position requires an active Secret clearance, collaboration across engineering teams, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with relevant experience.
• Active US Government Secret clearance.
• Proficiency with modeling/simulation tools or languages.
• Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines.
• Experience with data analysis and model validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain system-level models and simulations.
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and integration teams.
• Plan and execute model verification and validation.
• Document model assumptions and V&V results.
• Communicate model credibility to stakeholders.
• Support delivery of technical briefings and trade studies.
