Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA is seeking a Systems Modeling & Simulation, Operations Analysis Engineer to support the Systems Engineering organization. You will develop physics-based models, dynamic scenarios, and CONOPs, collaborating with air vehicle and subsystem engineers and leadership to guide design choices.

Formación

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with at least 2 years of relevant military or professional experience, OR a Master’s Degree with some relevant experience.
• Must have an active US Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SAP clearance as determined by the business.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, Java, or similar software-based trade studies.

Responsabilidades

• Perform operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.
• Develop and translate friendly/adversary tactics into mission-level models (e.g., AFSIM).
• Model operational environments and perform trade studies via computer simulation.
• Develop Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
• Develop, integrate, and use advanced GUI and visualization tools.
• Create software to model behavior of systems in real-time and constructive simulations.
