Job summary

The Urban League of Rochester is seeking a Mobility Mentor Navigator to provide mentoring and administration for the Mobility Mentoring Program. You will support the Director of Family Services, conduct intake with clients, and help maintain program data and reports.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree (bachelor's preferred), experience in client interactions, and knowledge of mobility mentoring and case management. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• The candidate has an associate degree; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Reliable transportation is required with travel throughout the day.
• Knowledge of mobility mentoring is required; knowledge of case management is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in client interactions.
• Experience in civic engagement or financial planning is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with the dynamics of race and class in urban America.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Family Services with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as requested by the Program Planning, Research and Evaluation Department.
• Participate in the recruitment of clients to take part in the Mobility Mentoring Program.
• Work directly with clients in the Mobility Mentoring Program, including intake appointments and follow-ups.
• Maintain client files as instructed by the Director of Family Services.
• Attend Urban League of Rochester functions and events.
• Participate in training and orientation.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Family Services.
