Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead New Mobility Consultant for our New York, NY or San Francisco, CA office. You will lead planning, design, and implementation of new mobility solutions and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to advance multimodal planning.

The role requires 7+ years of transportation planning or engineering experience, along with strong analytic, communication, and project leadership skills. Occasional travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering or related field; 7+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with new mobility, microtransit, paratransit, shared mobility, and automated vehicles.
• Analytical skills and knowledge of transportation networks, systems, and modalities.
• Interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-leadership, attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; travel may be required.
• Familiarity with Python, ArcGIS, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and implementation of new mobility solutions and technologies.
• Mentor junior staff in transportation planning and multimodal projects.
• Lead client meetings, stakeholder engagements, and business development efforts.
• Collect and compile observational, spatial, or operations data from multiple sources.
• Maintain quality control for data, demographics, patterns, trends, analyses.
• Prepare data visualizations, tables, charts, reports, and infographics.
