Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead New Mobility Consultant for its New York, NY or San Francisco, CA office. You will lead planning, design, and implementation of new mobility solutions and guide junior staff on multimodal transportation planning.

The role requires Bachelor’s in Transportation Planning or Engineering with 7+ years of related experience, plus familiarity with Python, ArcGIS, and Adobe Creative Suite. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering and 7+ years of experience in the field.
• Familiarity with new mobility, microtransit, paratransit, shared mobility and connected/automated vehicles.
• Analytical skills with transportation networks, geography, and data analysis.
• Clear communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and implementation of new mobility solutions and technologies.
• Mentor junior staff on transportation planning and multimodal projects.
• Lead client meetings, stakeholder engagements, and business development activities.
• Collect and analyze observational, spatial, and operational data from multiple sources.
