Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Lead New Mobility Consultant to drive planning and implementation of advanced mobility solutions in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA. You will lead projects, mentor junior staff, and engage with clients to deliver transportation planning insights and practical, data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering with 7+ years of related experience.
• Familiarity with new mobility, microtransit, paratransit, and shared mobility.
• Analytical skills and knowledge of transportation networks and GIS.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and implementation of new mobility solutions or technologies.
• Mentor junior staff to perform transportation planning and design work.
• Lead client meetings, stakeholder engagements, and business development initiatives.
• Collect and compile observational, spatial, or operations data from multiple matrices for projects.
• Maintain quality control standards for measurements, demographics, patterns and trends, analyses, and reporting.
• Prepare data visualizations and reports, infographics, and 3D illustrations for presentations.
• Generate documentation of memos, meeting minutes, and transmittals.
• Utilize latest technologies to analyze project areas and related sensitivities.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.
