Job summary

WSP USA in the United States seeks a Lead New Mobility Consultant for its New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices. You will lead planning, design, and implementation of new mobility solutions and mentor junior staff to advance multimodal planning.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Transportation Planning or Engineering with 7+ years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with Python, ArcGIS, and Adobe Creative Suite. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation planning or engineering and 7+ years in the field.
• Familiarity with new mobility, microtransit, paratransit and related technologies.
• Analytical skills, knowledge of geography, networks and modalities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and implementation of new mobility solutions.
• Mentor junior staff in transportation planning and multimodal work.
• Lead client meetings, stakeholder engagements and business development.
• Collect and analyze observational and spatial data from multiple sources.
• Ensure quality control in measurements, demographics, trends and reporting.
• Prepare data visuals and reports for presentations and decisions.
• Document memos, minutes, and transmittals clearly and concisely.
• Use latest technologies to study project areas with urban, economic and regulatory aspects.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies.
• Handle project needs and travel as required.
