Job summary

Superior in Ypsilanti, MI is seeking a Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair adaptive equipment for mobility solutions. The role emphasizes improving lives and safety for customers with mobility challenges.

You will work a standard Monday–Friday schedule (8 AM to 5 PM) with training provided and opportunities for professional growth within the company. You’ll engage with customers and peers to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior automotive repair experience preferred; electrical experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required for service evaluations, test drives, and parts/supplies transport.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and coworkers to confirm service needs.
• Diagnose, repair, and install automotive mobility and electrical equipment per company and NMEDA standards.
• Inspect and test vehicles for quality, damage, and compliance; document findings and repairs.
• Review and ensure quality of work completed by other technicians.
• Maintain accurate service, repair, and installation records.
• Drive vehicles for diagnostics, customer pick-up/drop-off, and post-service delivery.
• Keep work areas, tools, and shop facilities clean and organized.
• Respond to after-hours service calls, including on-site visits when needed.
• Support training and supervision of apprentice technicians.
