Job summary

Numotion, the leader in mobility solutions, is seeking a Service Technician in Brighton, MI. You will service and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other medical equipment, in shop or in the field, ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

This role requires hand and power tool proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's license for travel. You will maintain documentation, inventory, and work with a team focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
• Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or on site at customer locations.
• Maintain stock equipment, keeping it clean and ready for use.
• Keep a safe, organized shop/warehouse environment.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Document repairs and service reports thoroughly and timely.
• Educate customers and caregivers on equipment usage and safety.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations in the shop and field.
• Participate in required in-service training to stay updated.
