Job summary

Numotion is seeking a Service Technician in Manchester, NH, to service and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other medical equipment. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with field and shop responsibilities and hands-on maintenance.

You will diagnose issues, repair equipment, maintain stock and documentation, and educate customers on proper use and safety. A valid driver’s license and a proactive, safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of word processing, email, and internet for documentation and communication.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess situations and resolve equipment issues.
• Driving: Valid state driver’s license with satisfactory driving record; travel to various locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or in the field.
• Maintain stock equipment; ensure cleanliness and reliability.
• Maintain a safe, organized shop/warehouse environment.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and ensure safe operation.
• Receive, store, and ship parts; track inventory.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and timely; obtain signatures and reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety of equipment.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations; ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in in-service training to stay updated with industry practices.
