Job summary

Numotion, the leader in complex rehabilitation technology, is seeking a Service Technician. You will diagnose and repair manual and powered wheelchairs and medical equipment, both in the shop and in customer locations, ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, or minimum one year of related experience.
• Two years of relevant mechanical experience; experience with medical equipment preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Email, and Internet for documentation and communication.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions to resolve equipment issues.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record; travel to various locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or in the field.
• Maintain rental and stock equipment, keeping it clean and ready for use.
• Keep shop/warehouse clean, organized and safe.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Receive, store and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and timely, obtaining signatures and reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care and safety of equipment.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort and customization.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in required in-service training to stay updated on practices and products.
