Job summary

West Coast Wound is a mobile wound care company delivering in-home treatments to patients in South Austin, TX. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform advanced wound care at patients' homes and in SNFs, traveling locally in your designated region.

This 1099 contractor role requires TX NP or PA licensure, CPR certification, and strong communication. We provide extensive training, 24/7 support, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an NP or PA in TX.
• CPR certified.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient.
• Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Assure all patients are completely satisfied.
• Patient education and management.
• Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit.
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products.
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes.
