Job summary

QuantumCare Wound Care is seeking motivated Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our expanding mobile wound care team as independent contractors (1099). You will perform in-home and in-clinic visits, assess health status, manage chronic and acute conditions, and provide advanced wound care with autonomy in a flexible, supportive environment.

Active NE/IA NP or PA licensure is required, with experience in wound care or geriatric care preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in Nebraska or Iowa.
• Experience in wound care, home-based care, or geriatric medicine preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; day-trip travel to patient homes and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced wound care treatment in patients’ homes or clinics.
• Perform health assessments and manage chronic and acute conditions.
• Document all encounters and progress in the EMR per standards.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and organizational protocols.
