Job summary

QuantumCare Wound Care in Nebraska is expanding its mobile wound care team, inviting Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors (1099). You will provide in-home and select in-clinic visits, perform health assessments, and deliver advanced wound care.

You will work autonomously in a flexible, supportive environment, with travel across Nebraska and nearby Iowa to care for patients and coordinate with care partners.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in Nebraska or Iowa.
• Experience in wound care, home-based care, or geriatric medicine preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; day-trip travel.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Self-starter, comfortable working independently with mobile technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced wound care treatment with assessment, debridement, and individualized plans.
• Deliver mobile wound care in patients' homes or care facilities.
• Diagnose and manage chronic and acute conditions using a whole-patient approach.
• Document encounters and progress in the EMR according to standards.
• Coordinate with care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
