Job summary

Ztautogroup in the United States is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance, minor repairs, and routine vehicle inspections at customer locations. You will use a mobile service van to complete tasks and must deliver high standards of service and vehicle condition.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, present work recommendations to customers, and ensure accurate documentation of services and payments.

Qualifications

• Must have flexible 7 day a week availability.
• Must have valid driver''s license and be insurable.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.
• Must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new skillsets.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Provide minor repairs and maintenance at customer locations utilizing a mobile service van and equipment.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Coordinate effectively with staff in multiple departments to provide top notch customer service.
• Provide and present recommended work to customers for additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure customer vehicles are repaired correctly and in a timely manner to meet customer satisfaction.
• Ensure vehicles are left clean and in better condition than arrival.
• Accurately complete repair orders, detailing work performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair.
• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
• Report any additional vehicle issues or concerns to service advisors and management.
• Take customer payments when necessary and ensure accurate reporting of each payment.
• Work closely with other service technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure a smooth and efficient service process.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry developments and dealership policies.
• Assist and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to shop policies and regulations.
• Properly dispose of hazardous materials and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
