Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking an automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to heavy-duty tractors and equipment. The role involves on-site service work from a service truck and may occur in challenging weather conditions.

You will diagnose and repair vehicle issues, replace worn parts, and verify repairs through test drives. Strong safety practices and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Class B license.
• Experience in mechanical inspections and repairs preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on light to heavy tractors and equipment.
• Operate a service truck and conduct on-site inspections, often in adverse weather.
• diagnose, repair, replace and adjust components; verify repairs with test drives.
• Perform tire services and maintain vehicle records; manage costs with warranties.
