Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to serve customer facilities with a fully equipped bay-on-wheels for preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, travel to sites, and ensure customers are back on the road safely and efficiently. A valid driver’s license and DOT readiness are required; strong safety and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical annually.

Responsibilities

• Travel to a customer’s facility to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose wear conditions and recommend improvements to customers.
• Provide accurate, efficient service and troubleshoot/heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
