Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking Mobile Inspectors to conduct on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. You will document condition accurately, maintain industry standards, and support client trust and inventory flow.

Roles vary by level; you will engage dealers to grow participation, report daily activity, and collaborate with teams to improve efficiency while operating under a Lean framework. A valid driver's license and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Document vehicle condition and data in inspection systems.
• Inspect exterior and interior condition; document tires, panels, and mechanical components.
• Prepare daily activity and production reports.
• Build strong dealer relationships and educate clients on Manheim mobile inspection services.
