Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. Manheim Mobile Inspections team seeks a Mobile Inspector to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory.

You will document condition accurately and timely, supporting marketplace transparency and inventory flow. Applicants at all levels are invited; the role emphasizes reliability, customer service, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0–1 Years Of Automotive‑related Experience Preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in related field for Level 2 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
• Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect and document vehicle exterior and interior condition and mechanical components.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for reporting and lead management.
