Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspectors to perform on-site inspections for dealer clients across an assigned territory. You will document vehicle condition per standards, build client relationships, and support inventory flow with timely reporting.

Positions range by level; all require a valid driver's license and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 years of automotive-related experience preferred for Level 1.
• 1–2 years of automotive-related experience preferred for Level 2.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
• Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect and document vehicle exterior and interior condition, including powertrain and electrical components.
• Identify and document damage or inoperable features; maintain accurate records in inspection systems.
• Build trust with dealer clients through consistent quality and proactive engagement.
