Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspectors at various levels to perform on-site inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. You will document vehicle condition to Manheim standards, supporting trust and inventory flow.

Inspectors deliver high-quality inspections, act as brand ambassadors for Cox Automotive, and engage dealers to grow participation in mobile inspection services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
• Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect and document exterior and interior condition and mechanical components.
