Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks Mobile Inspectors to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients. You will document condition to Manheim standards and act as a brand ambassador, promoting mobile inspection services across a defined territory.

Positions vary by experience level, with clear growth paths and emphasis on accuracy, client engagement, and timely reporting. This role requires driving to dealer lots and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections per Manheim standards.
• Inspect and document exterior and interior vehicle condition.
• Verify VINs, mileage, options, and enter data accurately.
• Build relationships with dealer clients and promote services.
• Prepare daily activity and production reports in Salesforce.
• Maintain safety and comply with inspection standards.
