Vellum Health is looking for a dedicated Vascular Access Registered Nurse (RN) to join our mobile healthcare team in Texas. This role focuses on the assessment, placement, and management of vascular access devices for patients requiring IV therapy. The successful candidate will have at least 1.5-2 years of experience and strong proficiency in vascular access procedures.

The position demands flexibility for travel to various healthcare locations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment while providing high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5-2 years of current experience as vascular access Registered Nurse.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual dexterity tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and position patients as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular access procedures following evidence-based practice.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate vascular access devices.
• Provide education regarding vascular access procedures to patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of vascular access procedures.
• Identify and address complications related to vascular access devices.
