Job summary

Join Halfords as a Mobile Technician operating across customer driveways with a fully equipped van and guided route technology. The role entails tyre fitting, dash-cam fitting, battery replacement, air-con services, windscreen repairs, oil & filter changes, and tow-bar fitting.

Full training is provided to address gaps, and you’ll work 22 hours per week, including two days on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential overtime. Enjoy extensive employee benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in other vehicle repair work is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills & experience.
• Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative.
• This role will suit those with a real passion for all things cars & motoring.
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.

• £15,409.68 per annum + bonus
• 22 hour week
• 2 days Saturday & Sunday 8:00 - 20:00 (overtime may be available)

As a Mobile Technician, you’ll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers.

With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work, day-to-day:

• Dash-cam fitting
• Battery replacement
• Air-con services
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes
• Tow-bar fitting
