Job summary

Halfords Careers is recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Tyre Technician for nationwide roles within HCFS. The position involves tyre fitting and repair across vehicle types, with emphasis on customer service and accurate paperwork, in a dynamic outdoor/depot environment.

The role offers a competitive 40,000–60,000 GBP OTE, with an uncapped bonus scheme, overtime and call-out rates, and a mobility package including a van, tools, and PPE.

Qualifications

• Licence to work safely at the roadside.
• Full current driving licence required.
• 1 year experience as Commercial Tyre Technician.
• Willing to work with heavy machinery outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Fit/repair tyres for car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover – roadside & in depot.
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job sheets.

Skills & Experience:

• REACT Licence to work safely at the roadside
• Possess a full, current driving licence
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar
• Willing and able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.
