Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services, and related repairs such as tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality automotive services and ensuring customer safety on the move.

The role requires Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time-served experience, plus a full driving licence with up to 9 points. Hybrid training opportunities are available.

Job description

• On-target earnings up to £38,500.
  Comprising a base salary of up to £34,000.
  An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £4,500 per year.

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
