Job summary

Cox Automotive's Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II with DOT experience to perform inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers in a mobile setting. You will use company tools and the TRAIT app to document work and stay compliant with DOT regulations, while driving a company-provided service vehicle.

You will travel locally, have a flexible schedule, and receive a competitive hourly wage with benefits and potential incentive programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years' trailer-related experience.
• Own set of hand tools required.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and ability to pass DOT screen/physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on trailers and equipment.
• Document work and upload RO photos using TRAIT app on company iOS device.
• Diagnose electrical components and troubleshoot systems on trailers.
• Maintain inventory and operate service vehicle with safety checks.
