Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on trailers at customer sites. The role involves light repairs, diagnostics, and documentation using company tools and TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 3 years’ related trailer experience or 5 years related field experience.
• Must possess and supply hand tools.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and DOT medical card requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on trailers/equipment with minimal supervision.
• Document work and upload RO details using iOS and TRAIT app.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components and various trailer systems.
• Maintain safety, pre-/post-trip inspections, and inventory on service truck.
• Communicate with management for repair estimates and approvals.
• Adhere to safety programs and company policies.
