Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II in Delaware to expertly perform preventative maintenance, diagnose complex trailer system failures, and complete repairs on Class 7 and 8 trailers. The role includes working in the shop between service calls and may require participation in after-hours on-call rotation for the location.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of trailer repair experience, reefer system knowledge, and welding or fabrication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; weld/certifications are a plus.
• 3+ years experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trailers, including reefer systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect trailers to determine damage and required maintenance.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild trailer components and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and brake repairs on air/hydraulic/electric systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in workspace and service truck.
• Work in shop and on-site; participate in after-hours rotation if needed.
