Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs on trailers in a mobile/field setting. The role requires working on-site at times but offers remote work flexibility based on location, with travel 100% when needed.

The technician will document work using the TRAIT app, manage parts, and follow safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with relevant field experience.
• Experience with DOT inspections and PM inspections preferred.
• Certifications such as ASE or DOT-related training are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs with minimal supervision.
• Document work and upload photos/RO details using company devices and TRAIT app.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components and perform qualified trailer repairs.
