Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation, LLC seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for full-time mobile outpatient therapy across Watertown, CT and surrounding areas. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, designing patient-centered plans and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers 35-40 hours per week, flexibility to work in various settings, and opportunities for mentorship, CEUs, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Licensure or credential as required in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate disorders with a plan designed and executed with the patient.
• You design rehab plans and work with patients to implement them effectively across settings.
• You address the whole patient, promoting speech and communication improvements.
• You adapt to patient needs, keeping activities moving throughout the day.
• You collaborate with peers and refer to ensure comprehensive care.
• You train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
• You may participate in meetings and report progress as part of a team.
