Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide outpatient services in home, ALF/ILF, and community settings in Newburyport, MA. This part-time role focuses on assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders, with a flexible schedule and collaboration with the rehab team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the practicing state(s).
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patient residences.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home outpatient speech-language therapy to older adults.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop plan of care for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team and coordinate care in home, ALF/ILF, and community settings.
• Supervise CFYs, students, and ensure timely documentation and billing compliance.
