Job summary

Cleanleaf Energy seeks a traveling Solar Technician I to join our Special Projects team. This entry‑level field role requires travel across the lower 48 states, working up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities span preventive/corrective maintenance, SCADA/DAS interfacing, CMMS documentation, and safety compliance. Qualifications include a high school diploma, driver’s license, English communication skills, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass background and driving record checks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and field safety.
• Knowledge of solar plant components and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar/battery installations.
• Interface with SCADA/DAS systems and document work in CMMS.
• Travel up to 50% and work in fast-paced field environments.
• Maintain PPE and tools; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Assist with vegetation management and panel washing as needed.
