Job summary

Clean Energy Services (CES) seeks a Solar O&M Technician I to support the safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of commercial and utility-scale PV systems. This entry-level field position assists with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, monitoring support, and site inspections under the Lead Solar O&M Technician.

This role is designated as a safety-sensitive position and requires travel to other sites as part of regular duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years in solar, electrical, construction, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Live within a 45-minute drive of Easton, MD.
• Willingness to travel to other sites as needed.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PMI and preventive maintenance inspections and corrective maintenance/replacements of solar equipment.
• Assist with site inspections including security, fencing, vegetation, and safety items.
• Assist with warranty items with EPC and/or manufacturers.
• Assist with drone flights.
• Document safety observations, daily reports, and CMMS tickets/work orders.
